What is broken & Beloved?Broken and Beloved aims to provide Theology of the Body catechesis and evangelization in a retreat setting for women affected by the breakdown of intimate relationships and family life. The retreat offers an invitation to a Sacramental and communal healing journey, highlighting women’s dignity in Christ in all circumstances. We contemplate the mystery hidden in God before time began revealed through our bodies as male and female and fulfilled in Jesus’ incarnate invitation to relationship with Him, offered to all women of broken circumstances, confirmed in the Gospel, and unveiled through the writings of Saint John Paul II.

TESTIMONIALS
Here's what women who have attended a Broken and Beloved Retreat have shared!
I hope and encourage any woman who feels that her life and relationships are damaged beyond repair to know that, although we may be broken, we are still HIS BELOVED and He can make us beautiful.
The whole woman was ministered to. By that I mean physically there was marvelous food, fun, fellowship, and the beauty of nature. Emotionally and spiritually there were times of deep prayer, intimate sharing, professional counseling, scripture, and Sacraments. Intellectually, there were meaningful teachings on the Theology of the Body which meant a lot to me.
Through the teaching presented, I was able to see how the terrible choices that I had made during my life were caused by a deep disconnect from who I was created to be, and how far away I had been living from God’s original plan for His children. I came to understand how my behaviors not only affected me, but had negatively impacted the lives of others, and how their behaviors were also the result of this same disconnect. Having suffered so much abuse and emotional neglect, it was hard for me to trust God as a 'loving Father.' Being able to spend time alone before the Blessed Sacrament and hearing the powerful words of truth spoken during the presentations about God, His plan for me, and how much He loves me as his daughter, changed my whole perspective.
